WCKG December Program 7 p.m.: Brown Bag Gift Exchange,
Sulzer Regional Library, Chicago, IL
Hosted by Tina Stevens and Chris Bodmer.
December is traditionally our month for Brown Bag Exchanges. This year we'll depart from the past. Rather than exchanging unknit yarn in June and knitting up a surprise for December, we're going to have a Brown Bag Gift Exchange. Here's how it will work.
If you would like to participate, bring to the December 2009 meeting something fun to exchange with a value between $12-$15. It can be something you have knitted, a fiber-related book, a couple skeins of yarn with a pattern, something for your knitting bag, or some unexpected fiber-related gift. Wrap your gift so there's no peeking. Everyone who brings something participates by choosing from the pool of "gifts".
Please come for the camaraderie even if you do not wish to participate in the Exchange. We'll still have Show and Share, Guild business, food, and plenty of socializing.
November 18-21, 2010

Mark your calendars. Lucy is coming back.
