Halos of Hope
“Halos of Hope” is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing in-need chemo patients with crafted hats donated by caring volunteers.
Founded in 2007 by a breast cancer survivor, Halos of Hope is a registered Illinois Corporation and IRS recognized 501(c)3 organization. They are an independent charity and not affiliated with any other chemo cap organization. Halos of Hope has grown quickly and is providing caps to chemo patients in Chicago and all across the country. Their website includes testimonials, background, how to become a volunteer, patterns (knit, crochet, and sewn) and guidelines for making caps. They accept all caps and will send caps anywhere a chemotherapy patient is in need. Men, women and children receive the caps.
